Revenge of Ashura
The episode starts out with dectective Dorai busting a large scale drug deal taking place at the coast of Hong Kong. The drug syndicate boss, Ashura plans to kidnap Chun Li to get Dorai. They wait for her after she comes out of her school waiting for Ken and Ryu to pick her up. While she's waiting, these men working for the drug dealers are dressed as clowns. They attack Chun Li but she kicks butt, throwing guys down stairs and smacking books at them. Ken and Ryu come in the nick of time to finish the rest of the gang. Dorai is attacked at the Doji by a masked gang with a new martial art form, Muy Thai, an art using the elbows and knees as weapons. Fei Long had come to practice at the doji. He and Dorai's students fight trying to protect the Chun Li's father. Ken, Ryu and Chun Li come and fight with the gang also. Chun Li helps her father fight with the men inside and Ken and Ryu assist Fei Long outside. They figure out the weakness in the men and beat them all up. In the end, they beat up everyone but one man who gets away. |

Ken and Ryu are intrigued about Muy Thai and decide to go to Thailand to learn more about it. At the airport in Thailand, the customs officer checks Ryu's cag and find drugs that one of Ashura's men planted on him. Ryu is sent to a prison where the prison chief, Nuchit, tortures him. Ken is running all over town to find Ashura's men to prove Ryu's innocence to get him out of jail.
In jail, Ryu gets in a fight with Sagat, but after withstanding Sagat's most powerful blow, Sagat respects him and wishes he had more opponents like Ryu. Sagat tells about Ryu his past and why he was in jail. Sagat was a champion fighter and refused an order by Ashura to fake a fall during a fight. Sagat was sent to prison after Ashura planted drugs on him.
Ken is searching around for clues about Ashura's hideout. He finds them getting into a car and chases after them. He fights with the man who had gotten away from the attack at Chun Li's doji, and he get's hold of the man's mask before the man gets into the car with Ashura and they speed away. With his fathers contacts, Ken finally gets Ryu out with bail, but Ryu still has to stay within Thailand till the trial. His father seems pretty high in the government sice he contacted the US ambassy in Thailand and got Ryu released.
